Absolutely not! We do not test our products on animals. We also only source our ingredients from suppliers that share the same ethical values.

The term therapeutic grade isn’t actually a recognised Essential Oil standard - there’s no regulating organisation that monitors it. The label ‘therapeutic grade’ is a marketing term! We prefer to confirm that our oils are 100% pure essential oils, that are true to botanical species and contain no synthetics.
We do our best to source and use organic ingredients, but we cannot guarantee this. To be able to label our product as organic we would have to have each individual product independently tested. To label our products as organic we also need to have organic status which is incredibly difficult and expensive to achieve. We would prefer to spend our money on sourcing the highest quality organic ingredients we can.
We do not recommend using aromatherapy or herbal products while you are pregnant. These ingredients may be small but they are mighty! While it is true aromatherapy can be used when you are pregnant, great care needs to be taken and each pregnancy is different. If you want to use aromatherapy during your pregnancy it’s best to speak to your medical practitioner and an aromatherapist.
It is not recommended to use essential oils for babies until they are over 2 years old. Essential oil components have been found in breast milk so it is advisable to avoid topical application of essential oils whilst breastfeeding. This can also include diffusing essential oils so it’s always best to check with your medical practitioner first.
Babies and young children are small, very sensitive souls with delicate, developing systems. The potency of essential oils should always be at the forefront of our thoughts when using them. For children under the age of 2, we recommend using only room sprays. It is always best to check with your medical practitioner first.
For children over 2yrs you can use the Sleepy Soul room spray and Blissful Soul room spray. The Blissful Soul and Sleepy Soul essential oils can be used in a room diffuser. However, it is best to defuse for a shorter amount of time like 10-20mins using 1-2 drops.
The Soothe Your Soul Oat Soak can be used for children over 2yrs.

With a sense of smell 10,000 to 100,000 times more acute than human’s, animals are more affected by essential oil diffusion than one might think.
Avoid diffusing essential oils around fish/amphibians, birds, reptiles, pregnant/ nursing animals and young animals.
While you can defuse essential oils around dogs and cats it is really important to do it with caution. It depends on which essential oil you are diffusing as well as the age and health of your furry friend. It’s always best to check with your vet first as they know your pet.
